Overview#
The Blue Star NG600-01P is the prime-rated variant of the NG600-01, delivering 540 kWe continuously on natural gas (350 kWe on LP). It uses the identical PSI 32L V12 platform and physical enclosure as the standby NG600-01. Three-phase only — no single-phase option. The NG600-01P carries a 1-year / 1,500-hour prime warranty.

Both share the same OPU footprint (210×96×103 in, 15,850 lbs) and DSE DCP7310 controller.

All carry 105°C prime temperature rise and ±0.5% voltage regulation.
When to spec the NG600-01P#
- 450–540 kW continuous or prime duty on natural gas or LP (three-phase only)
- Facilities with confirmed prime-duty load profiles at the 600 kW class
- Large commercial, data center, or hospital installations requiring prime-rated certification at this output level
Our service experience#
Service procedures are identical to the NG600-01 standby. Prime-duty use accumulates hours faster — budget accordingly for 12-cylinder spark plug and ignition coil service intervals per PSI's prime-duty maintenance schedule.
