How We Got Here
PowerGen was founded by Victor Poley in 2016 after more than 30 years as a generator industry veteran. Built to serve the critical infrastructure needs of hospitals, data centers, manufacturing facilities, and government agencies, PowerGen quickly became a trusted name in commercial and industrial emergency standby power.
Now part of OnPoint-PowerGen, we combine deep industrial expertise with modern technology and management. Operating from four offices across California and Nevada, our factory-trained technicians are certified on Caterpillar, Kohler, and Cummins platforms.
Our team delivers reliable maintenance, load testing, NFPA 110 compliance services, and emergency repair for generators ranging from 10kW standbys to 3MW emergency power plants. With 24/7 emergency response and a rental fleet staged for rapid deployment, we keep critical facilities online.
