The Kohler 30CCL is a 30-kilowatt gaseous standby generator and the mid-range unit in Kohler's CCL series. It uses a Brushless Wound-Field alternator with PowerBoost excitation, providing sustained short-circuit capability up to 300% of rated current for 10 seconds. The unit operates on natural gas or LP propane and is EPA certified for stationary emergency use.

The 30CCL shares its enclosure and dimensional footprint with the 25CCL and 36CCL, making it a straightforward step-up when 25 kW is not enough headroom but the site does not need the full 36 kW rating.
