The Kohler 25CCL is a 25-kilowatt gaseous standby generator and the entry point of Kohler's CCL series. It features a Brushless Wound-Field alternator with PowerBoost excitation, delivering strong motor-starting performance and sustained short-circuit support up to 300% rated current for 10 seconds. The unit runs on natural gas or LP propane and is EPA certified for stationary emergency use.

Sized for residential whole-house backup and small commercial applications, the 25CCL shares its enclosure platform with the 30CCL and 36CCL, keeping the footprint compact.
