SEASIDE, Calif. — September 15, 2025 — OnPoint Generators, Inc. has been appointed as an authorized servicing dealer for Isuzu Motors America, LLC, expanding the company's capabilities in sourcing, troubleshooting, and servicing Isuzu diesel engines — among the most widely used powerplants in the commercial generator market.
The dealer appointment, sponsored by Valley Power Systems and Multiquip Inc., covers OnPoint's service operations from its Seaside and Tracy, California locations. The authorization enables OnPoint's field technicians to provide factory-backed parts, diagnostics, and repair services on Isuzu diesel engines installed in generators and other stationary power equipment.
Isuzu engines in the generator industry#
Isuzu manufactures more than 30 industrial diesel engine models ranging from 8.8kW to 382kW, with EPA Tier 4 compliance achieved without diesel particulate filters. The company's pre-validated genset-ready power units are found in products from numerous generator manufacturers, including Multiquip MQ Power — a brand OnPoint and its subsidiary PowerGen, Inc. have serviced for years.

Expanding OEM partnerships#
The Isuzu appointment adds to OnPoint's existing factory authorizations and OEM relationships, which include Kohler, Cummins, and Multiquip MQ Power. OnPoint's subsidiary PowerGen, Inc. holds additional certifications on Caterpillar platforms.
Isuzu Motors America maintains a network of approximately 400 authorized service dealers across North America, with parts distribution centers providing expedited availability for field service operations.
