Overview#
The Triton Power TP-V1100-T4F is an 1100 kW diesel standby generator featuring a twin-engine configuration with two Volvo TWD1672GE turbocharged inline six-cylinder engines, each displacing 16.1 L. Rated at 1100 kW / 1376 kVA standby and 1000 kW / 1250 kVA prime, this twin-pack design delivers megawatt-class power while maintaining EPA Tier 4 Final emissions compliance. Both engines operate at 1800 RPM and are paired with Leroy Somer alternators.
The twin-pack architecture provides built-in redundancy — each engine can operate independently if the other is offline for maintenance. Sound levels are maintained at approximately 70 dBA at 7 meters in the enclosed configuration. This unit is designed for large commercial facilities, data centers, and industrial applications requiring high power density with emissions-compliant operation.

Twin-pack configurations require careful synchronization and load sharing between the two engine-alternator sets. The advantage is that both engines share the same Volvo TWD1672GE platform as the single-engine TP-V550-T4F, so technicians familiar with that model can service both units without additional training.
