Overview#
The Triton Power TP-P155-T3-UL is a 153 kW standby / 136 kW prime diesel generator powered by the Perkins 1106D-E70TAG3 turbocharged six-cylinder engine (7.01 L displacement) paired with a Leroy Somer alternator. It meets EPA Tier 3 emissions standards for emergency stationary applications and carries UL2200 listing. The inline-six configuration provides smooth power delivery and proven reliability in the mid-range commercial power class.
Available in three-phase configurations at 120/208V and 277/480V, this unit sits just above the 150 kW threshold in the Triton lineup, providing additional capacity for facilities where load growth may push past the 150 kW standby mark.
Our service experience#
The Perkins 1106D is part of the well-established 1100 Series platform found in generators from Olympian (Caterpillar's value line), FG Wilson, and other integrators. At 153 kW, this unit competes in the sweet spot of commercial standby power — office buildings, mid-size healthcare facilities, and schools. The Perkins dealer network provides strong parts support in Northern California, and the engine shares many service components with the 1104D used in smaller Triton models.
