Overview#
The Triton Power TP-RS350-T4F is a 308 kW rental grade diesel generator designed for large-scale fleet and jobsite power applications. Powered by the Scania DC09 084A five-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine (9.3 L displacement) paired with a Leroy Somer alternator, it delivers 308 kW / 385 kVA standby and 280 kW / 350 kVA prime power at 1800 RPM. The unit meets EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards through Scania's integrated aftertreatment system.
Built for rental fleet service, the TP-RS350-T4F features a reinforced sound-attenuated enclosure, heavy-duty steel chassis with forklift pockets, and 125% integrated fluid containment for environmental compliance. Available in three-phase configurations (120/208V and 277/480V), it powers large construction sites, commercial building temporary service, industrial shutdowns, and major event installations where substantial Tier 4 Final compliant power is required.
Our service experience#
Scania's DC09 five-cylinder engine is a distinctive platform in the 250-350 kW rental segment, offering excellent power density from a compact inline-5 configuration. The odd cylinder count provides inherently smooth operation, and the 9.3-liter displacement delivers strong torque response under variable jobsite loads. Scania's aftertreatment system (DOC/DPF/SCR) requires DEF and periodic maintenance, but the automated regeneration strategy operates transparently during normal load conditions. In rental fleet rotation, these units serve as primary power for large construction sites, temporary commercial installations, and event infrastructure. The rental grade enclosure and chassis absorb the rigors of frequent transport and repositioning, and the integrated containment base eliminates the need for separate spill containment on environmentally regulated sites.
