The Olympian GEP65 is a 65 kW diesel generator powered by the Perkins 1104A-44TG1 — a 4.4-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine from the Perkins 1100 Series. Delivering three-phase 277/480V power at 60 Hz, the GEP65 serves mid-size commercial standby applications including office buildings, retail centers, restaurants, and small institutional facilities.
The Perkins 1100 Series engine is one of the highest-volume diesel engine families in the world, deployed across construction equipment, agricultural machinery, and industrial applications globally. This broad market penetration translates to excellent parts availability and widespread technician familiarity, which keeps maintenance costs predictable for commercial building operators. The turbocharged 4.4-liter configuration provides a good balance of power density and fuel efficiency for the 65 kW class.
The GEP65 is available in open-skid and enclosed configurations, with sound-attenuated options for noise-sensitive commercial sites.
