Overview#
The MQ Power DCA-25 WhisperWatt is a 25 kVA (20 kW prime) portable diesel generator — the bread-and-butter of the construction rental fleet. It's the smallest multi-phase unit in the WhisperWatt Super-Silent lineup, combining serious power tool capability with sound levels low enough for events and film production.
At 65 dBA at 7 meters, it's quieter than most residential air-conditioned generators. The Super-Silent designation isn't marketing — it's measurably quieter than competitors in this class.

Our service experience#
We service MQ Power units in rental fleets and provide temporary power support for construction sites across our territory. The DCA-25's Isuzu 4LE2T engine is robust and parts-available. The most common service issue: fuel filter clogging from dirty fuel on job sites. We recommend carrying spare fuel filters and checking the water separator daily on active construction sites.
The Tier 4 Final compliance means no DEF requirement at this size — the 25 kVA achieves emissions compliance through engine combustion design alone. DEF starts at the DCA-70 and above.
